Community guidelines
A forum built on the same trust as the directory.
FindMyYeshiva exists so families can find the right fit without ratings, rankings, or public complaints. The community holds the same line. Here is what that means in practice:
No reviews or ratings of specific schools
Not positive, not negative. Every child is different; a school that was wrong for one family may be exactly right for another. Talk about what to look for — not which school to avoid or crown.
No lashon hara
Questions about a program's structure are welcome. Commentary about staff, students, or families is not.
Never identify a child
No names, no identifying details, no photos. Ask your question in a way that protects your child's privacy.
Be generous and practical
The best posts share what you wish you had known: questions to ask, timelines that surprised you, how you compared options.
Sponsored content is labeled
Community members may not advertise services in threads. Schools and services can partner with us through clearly labeled placements.
Threads and replies that break these guidelines are removed. Repeated violations close an account. To flag a post or reach the team, use the contact page.
